Year 6 SATs

Year 6 SATs

Today our year 6 have completed their SATs. It has been a very challenging week but everyone has given their all and we could not be more proud of them all. To the people who have gone above and beyond to ensure our children got the best possible start to their SATs, who have organised and run our breakfast club this week for all the year 6 children - thank you. The children were certainly enjoying their cereal, toast and hot chocolate (with marshmallows) every morning. Thank you to all staff in school who have supported these children, not only this year in year 6, but very year of their school career, you have ensured they were as ready as they could have ever been for these tests. To all staff who have supported this week with the delivery and administration of the tests, your support has been invaluable. To all parents/carers who have supported the school and the children through their life at St Botolph's - they couldn't have got through it all without you. Finally to our FANTASTIC year 6 children who have taken these tests and have shown what true resilience really is. Still smiling after the final test today. You have conducted yourselves in such a professional manner and all the extra booster sessions you have attended before and after school have paid off. All of us at St Botolph's are extremely proud of you all. Our children could not have done any more than what they have done this week and even though to the DFE they now become numbers, scores and grades, to us they remain wonderful individuals who shine in so many ways. You as parents and carers should feel very proud of them this week as we are. Well done year 6.xxx
