St Botolph’s CE Academy is part of the Enhance Academy Trust.
The school is still included in the Co-ordinated Scheme for Admissions which is administered by Wakefield Local Authority but the school's Local Academy Body oversees the admissions process. Understanding Admissions policies
We are currently a one and a half form entry academy with our pupil admission number being set at 45. From September 2025 our Reception cohort will be a class of 30.
Admission to nursery is coordinated through the school directly. Please contact the school office for further information.

If you wish your child to attend our Academy nursery, please call or come in and register your interest. We offer a FEET session, (Families Enjoying Everything Together) in the term your child turns 3 and then they will be offered a place in our nursery in the term after they are 3. If you have any questions or would like to come in and visit the setting, please call or come in to see us to make an appointment.
