Monday morning

9 July 2021 (by Emma Fisher (Emma))

Following the success of England's journey to the final on Sunday, we as a school understand that a lot of our children will want to stay up to watch the game. The last time England were in a major final was 55 years ago and after what has been a difficult two years, a little bit of national pride is just what the country needs.

It is for this reason that, if you wish, your child can come into school on Monday morning for 10.30am and they will not be marked as late. We would much rather have children in school than being absent and we know that a rested child is much more productive than one who is tired and grumpy.

School will be open at the normal time and the gates will open as normal for any children who still want to come in at that time. Teachers will have activities planned for the first session. The gates will then close at 9am and re-open at 10.20am. Please still follow the usual one-way system.

Any children who may come in late that normally have a school dinner will either have to let school by 9am what they want to order, or they will have to bring a packed lunch.
The options are: Chicken and tomato pasta bake, cheese and bean wrap, Jacket potato, ham, cheese or tuna sandwich.

Thank you.
