PGL 11.11.19

Year 5/6 Residential - PGL

If your child is attending the year 5/6 residential on 11.11.19 then please see below for the information you will need to know.

Pupils need to be in school for 9am on Monday and they will come into the hall to be registered.

We will begin loading the bus from 9.30am with a view to depart at 10.00am.

On Wednesday, we will be leaving the centre at 1pm and are due back to school at approximately 2.30pm.

Please ensure your child has:
• A packed lunch for Monday
• A sleeping bag or duvet
• A pillow
• A water bottle

ALL children MUST have a waterproof coat.

Please ensure you complete the medical form which will be handed out on Tuesday. We cannot take your child on the trip if we do not have this medical information. Even if your child has no medical issues the form must still be completed.

Please ensure that any medication is signed in with Mrs Toon on the morning of the trip and that it is in its original packaging with your child’s details written on it.

We will be updating Facebook regularly so please check it to see what we have been doing.

Please also find attached a photo of the packing list for the trip and the menu for while we are there. Our first meal will be the Monday evening and our last meal will be the Wednesday lunchtime. You must let us know if your child has any dietary requirements.

If you have any questions, concerns or just want to talk about the activities/schedule the children will be following I will be available after school on Wednesday to answer any of your questions.
There is a disco on the last night so if children want to pack party clothes they are welcome to do so, although we will be speaking to the children to ensure the party clothes are appropriate.

Thank you
