Wednesday 6th February
We were very privileged to have a visit from the Mayor of Wakefield on Wednesday. Following a whole school assembly, the Mayor was shown around school by our head boy and our head girl became the mini-mayor for the day. Each classroom was visited by the Mayor, the mini-mayor, Macebearer and our very own Mayoress of the Occasion - Mrs Adams.
All the children enjoyed the visit and asked questions about the Mayor's role.
